A cycle-tracking app that blends science with a little magic. Beloved for its cosmic design, emotionally intelligent voice, and astrological layer, Stardust helps users connect more deeply to their bodies and cycles.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Stardust already delivers rich, phase-specific insights, but what if those insights could talk back?
Inspired by the app’s soulful tone and Stardust’s own commitment to emotional intelligence, this concept introduces a new feature: Hormone Chat. Think group text meets internal chemistry. Each hormone has a distinct voice, avatar, and perspective that mirrors its function in the body.
From avatar design to sample chats to tone mapping, the project explores how this feature could deepen user connection, offer ongoing support, and scale into an even more interactive future.
Cast of Hormones
Each hormone is designed as a distinct character, intentionally crafted to reflect its energetic role in the body while staying true to Stardust’s soulful, seamless brand voice. These aren’t cartoons, they’re intuitive, lightly archetypal presences that feel emotionally resonant and rooted in science. Each one brings a unique tone, style, and perspective to the conversation, helping users not only learn about their inner world, but connect with it. Designed to integrate effortlessly into Stardust’s existing visual and tonal ecosystem, these characters deepen the user experience with charm, clarity, and purpose.
Estrogen
The Social Organizer
Tone: Upbeat, eloquent, people-person, notices all the details.
Vibe: Let’s make this make sense. You’re not losing it, your brain is just rewiring.

Tone: Gentle, nurturing, slightly sleepy, very validating.

Alongside your personalized charts and hormone data, users can drop into an interactive, phase-specific conversation where their hormones talk to them. Each one has a distinct voice, tone, and perspective that reflects how it behaves in the body. Users can ask questions, check in emotionally, and receive support in real time. Science-backed, soulful, and a little magical.
